Kippa loves to swim, Edgar does not. At this point it's anybody's guess how Olli will eventually feel about it -- for now water is just plain FUN.

Wynken and Blynken have new homes and were dropped off at the airport 2 weeks ago. They're both doing well and are loving the attention.

 Olli is still with us and looking for his forever home. We think he's pretty special and hope there is someone out there that thinks so too!

Here he is with his mom, Vinlands Urthur, who we call Kippa.

Icelandic Sheepdog Puppies for sale

These puppies will be ready to leave home after June 15th. 2 pups are still available.

They will be health checked, given eye exams and microchipped.

Both parents are up to date on eye exams and have OFA good hips.

Pedigrees will be posted soon.

Shipping is possible if there is a direct non-stop flight to their destination

Black Dogs

Did you ever try to photograph a black dog? Believe me, it's not easy. Richard took a great shot of "Nod" yesterday. See the red in his coat?

Sunday Shots

The pups are still a little hesitant about this big expanse of grass, but I know it won't be long before they're out running in the field like the big dogs. 

They're starting to eat a little ground puppy kibble mush (thank you Magic Bullet) and have moved to a bigger pen with more room to play (and poop). I don't know about other places in the US, but our newspapers here are getting smaller, and that sure makes a difference when you're using them to paper a puppy den!

Hello World!

Grass...trees...sun...toes. It's all new.

(That's not another puppy in the background. It's little Mojo, our friend's Havanese. He could care less about puppies.)

Quiet Times..for now

The pups have opened their eyes and are getting adjusted to the real world, so now I can start using flash on my camera again. But for now, here are some pictures of their new "best friends" - a tiger, a bear, and a ladybug. Funny how they each chose the one that is most like their own personality.

So here are mom and dad. Maybe not the best photos, but it gives you and idea of the wonderful mix of colors and coat lengths this breed is all about.
